About State of Mind Counselling

We are a team of professionals who provide the community with expertise in the field of mental health for ALL AGES. Our team consists of Registered Clinical Counsellors, Registered Social Workers, Registered Psychiatric Nurses and other medical and mental health professionals. We depend on our multidisciplinary team approach to learn from one another and enhance the overall service that we provide.

We at State of MIND Counselling believe in quality of care, not quantity of care. This is why we have maintained a very firm focus on the field of mental health. Each Clinician on our team is carefully selected based on their level of expertise and specializations. Counselling is not just about finding someone who you connect with, it’s about finding someone you connect with who ALSO has a great skill set and can truly support you in addressing whatever challenges you may experience.

Going to talk to a complete stranger about your feelings, your intrusive thoughts, your problems; it’s tough. It can be downright intimidating. We get it. We can’t tell you anything to change that discomfort. Everyone feels it. What we can tell you is that once you take that first step, you are already on the right path because you have taken the very first step in facing your fears.
